The house was great, close to the snow starting point. It has convenient design with good features.

We were a party of ten and the house was perfect for us. The heating system for our winter stay was very good. We've rented homes where the heating system is uneven making some rooms so cold while others are too hot. If you have allergies to pet hair, then be aware, because that is impossible to clean and you will find pet hair at this house since they allow dogs. Also, the main floor's toilet is so low. If you have mobility issues, this is not the toilet for you.

The Ames Family enjoyed another wonderful trip to Bear Valley. We have enjoyed our summers there for more than 40 years and expect to be back again next year. Thank you for your helpful and warm hospitality. Appreciate you taking the time to put my Bear Valley sweatshirt in the mail. Have a wonderful winter and we’ll see you all next year!

Our group really enjoyed our stay at Cabin 45. Pros: free firewood and plenty of it, stocked kitchen, clean house l, comfortable beds. Cons: Having to put the sheets on all beds with a high cleaning fee, no recycle bin.

This was our third stay in his house, it fits us perfectly: sleeping arrangements, good size living/dining room, distance from lodge/parking.

Our family gathering of 11 adults and kids fit perfectly in this older cabin as the 5 bedrooms on 3 floors allowed plenty of space and privacy. We made good use of the secondary kitchen downstairs, especially the fridge! The deep leather couches and good size dining table accommodated us comfortably, and we enjoyed eating at the long table on the deck. The parking area even fit all 5 of our cars! We had a great time swimming at Lake Alpine, took a hike to Duck Lake, and had 2 fun rounds of disc golf. Best of all we were able to bring the pups along on our holiday. This may not be the fanciest cabin in Bear Valley, but it is a very usable one.
